United StatesUpgraded from Snap to Tough Case
I've used Gelaskins Snap Cases for years, and the most recent case design tended to crack more easily around the corners than before when dropped. So, I upgraded to a Tough Case. After 1 month, I can report that it works well to protect the phone from drops, and the case hasn't broken yet. The sacrifice is that the Tough Case is slightly bulkier, which I am fine with. Aesthetically, I have a white and rose gold phone, so the black rubberized parts of the case are visually very stark against the white, which breaks up the beauty of the seamless screen photo to case patterning. Here again, the loss in aesthetic is a fine trade off for a better functioning case.

I wanted to wait to review my GelaSkin iPhone case until I’d been using it for a solid chunk of time. Well, that time is now, and I am thrilled with how durable and protective it is. I’ve had a few drops and not only is my phone still in great shape, but the case itself is just like new. I’ve also had to sanitize it several times with alcohol wipes, and that has not been a problem for the finish or the colors of the GelaSkin. I love this case!
