Eric Powell's The Goon has won multiple Eisner Awards, and for good reason. Since joining the Dark Horse Comics line in 2003, Powell's blend of pulpy horror and slapstick insanity has found an army of dedicated fans, not only due to the sharp dialogue and witty plot, but in large part due to Powell's masterful use of watercolors.
